Gen Singh will tomorrow attend the Nepal-India Joint Military exercise called "Surya Kiran VI", according to the army sources in Nepal.
An infantry battalion of the Indian Army comprising 250 personnel and 200 personnel of the Nepal Army have been carrying out the joint military exercise at Saljhandi in Rupandehi district in southwest Nepal.
The two-week long exercise, which commenced on March 5, will conclude on March 18.
Gen Sing met Gen Rana at Nepal Army Headquarters in Kathmandu and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between both the armies. The two army chiefs also discussed bilateral issues.
Gen Singh arrived in Nepal today on a two-day official visit at the invitation Gen Rana.
