'Genius' receives thumbs up from audience

The first episode of National Geographic's 10-part series - "Genius" - premiered here and received a thundering applause from the audience.
"Genius" charts how Albert Einstein, an imaginative rebellious student, went on to become the greatest scientific mind of the 20th century.
Geoffrey Rush plays the role of Albert Einstein, Emil Watson takes on the part of Elsa Einstein and Johnny Flynn is younger Einstein in the film.
Though his scientific endeavors continue to inspire awe, few know the entire story of the tumultuous private life of the 20th century's most brilliant icon.
The network's first scripted series reveals how Albert became Einstein, exploring his extraordinary professional achievements along with his volatile, passionate and complex personal relationships.
The series is based on Walter Isaacson's book "Einstein: His Life and Universe" and is executive produced by Brian Crazer andRon Howard.
The series is set against an era of global unrest over the course of two world wars.
Howard makes his prime time television drama directorial debut with the series, which will air from April 25.
