Getting married by the end of this year: Shahid Kapoor

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has put to rest all rumours surrounding his marriage by confirming that he is set to tie the knot by the end of 2015.
There were reports that the "Haider" star got engaged to a Delhi-based college girl and the couple were planning to get hitched by December this year.
"Marriage is on the cards sometimes towards the end of the year. I refrain from getting into details. I hope you respect that. I thought it was important for me to acknowledge it in front of the media, so I am doing this," Shahid, 34, told reporters at an event here.

Without divulging further details about his impending wedding and his would-be bride, the actor said he would like everyone to treat them like any other normal couple.
"Other than that I am just a normal guy and she is a normal girl. We should treat it like something that is normal and regular. And I am very happy to announce this," said the actor, who is currently busy shooting "Udta Punjab".
Shahid was earlier in a long term relationship with actress Kareena Kapoor till their split in 2007.
