The World No.15 from Kolkata could not keep pace with his 10th-ranked opponent in the 65 minute battle, going down 11-7 8-11 5-11 6-11 at the Indoor Sports Arena last night. It was Ghosal's second loss against Selby in as many career meetings.
"I was not as accurate as I would have liked it to be. He (Selby) stepped up the court really well and was relentless, especially in the last two games," Ghosal told PTI today.
Ghosal will return to action next month when he competes at the Asian Team Championships in Hong Kong.
