"Both the accused, aged 14 years, had kidnapped the girl, a student of class VI, on Saturday evening and confined her to an abandoned public toilet near the village, where they repeatedly raped her," District Superintendent of Police (SP) Sachin Atulkar told PTI here.
The girl was rescued by a passerby last night, after he heard her shouting for help, the officer said adding that, "The victim was admitted to the district hospital and discharged this evening."
The duo has been booked under IPC sections 376 (2) (g) (gangrape), 342 (wrongful confinement), 34 (act done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) and relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2002.
