Girl accidentally falls into well, dies

An 18-year-old girl died today after accidentally falling into a well in Pali district of Rajasthan, police said.
The incident occurred when Rekha was sitting on the edge of the well and was fixing a motor, SHO Bali police station Kailash Dan said.
Her father Ruparam jumped into the well to rescue her and injured himself, he said, adding they were taken to a hospital by locals, where the girl was declared dead.
Police said the body has been sent for postmortem.
