Girl killed in road mishap in UP, 2 constables suspended

A girl was killed and two others were injured after being hit by a truck at Jaswant Nagar area here today following which two contables were suspended for "dereliction" of duty, police said.
The incident took place this afternoon when the girls, who were returning home from schools, hit by the truck. Shabnab (20) died on the spot, they said adding Renu and Ujala were admitted to a nearby hospital.
Later, locals protested by blocking road and also damaged some police vehicles.
Superintendent of Police Manjil Saini has suspended two constables for derilication of duty.
Meanwhile, the condition of the girls is stated to be stable, they added.
