Her statement was recorded under Section 144 of the CrPC in which she said she was 24 years old and had eloped of her own will with the youth, police said.
Tension had prevailed in the town over the issue of the elopement of the girl on November 29.
Police had traced the girl in Delhi along with her lover on December 25. The youth was later arrested and the girl sent for medical examination.
