This year, overall 64.50 per cent students passed the senior secondary examination, which is slightly better than the last year's 62.40 per cent.
A total of 73.44 per cent girl students have passed the class 12 examination as compared to 57.58 per cent boys, a spokesman of the Board said.
For the first time this year, Aadhaar number of a student is mentioned on their certificate, he was quoted as saying in an official release.
"Thus, they need to give the Aadhaar number as soon as possible, and only the school or the candidate will be responsible for any delay," he said.
A total of 2,10,867 students took the class 12th examination, out of which 1,36,008 cleared it. As many as 42,245 students have received compartment and 30,966 failed, the spokesperson said.
In this examination, the pass percentage of students of rural areas was 66.92 per cent, whereas the urban area students had a pass percentage of 60.26.
The spokesman said that the Board has announced the results of science, commerce and arts streams of Class 12th conducted in March 2017.
