Goa-based hospitality institute ties up with Ireland's DIT

Goa-based V M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) today announced its academic collaboration with Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Ireland, for their courses in the state.
The tie-up with DIT will help the students to have an international exposure as the Ireland-based institute will be supervising the academics at regular interval, VMSIIHE Director Irfan Mirza told reporters here today.
Goa's leading business group, V M Salgaocar has started VMSIIHE at Raia village, 30 kms away from here, which will be formally inaugurated on July 21, offering BSc in International Hospitality Management.
The institute is also affiliated to Goa University, while it has strategic tie-up with the international hospitality chain Marriott Group for knowledge sharing and training purposes, Mirza said.
The students will have 100 per cent job placement guarantee after completing the three year course, which has been designed considering the international standards, he said.
