The five-member Committee's report, tabled in the House today, has indicted former Home Minister and Congress leader Ravi Naik, his son Roy and some police officers for their alleged nexus with the drug mafia in Goa.
The legislator, Vishnu Wagh, said "there was no evidence to implicate Naik and his son."
The House Committee report was tabled on the floor of the Assembly without any dissent note by Wagh.
Pacheco told PTI he is yet to receive any letter from Wagh. "The report is now property of the House and it cannot be amended," he said.
The report accused the Naik duo of having links with drug lord Atala alias Yaniv Benaim, an Israeli national. The former Home Minister has also been accused of misusing his power and forcing policemen into drug trade.
