Crime Branch had conducted the raid as a part of Anti- Corruption Bureau's investigation into the disproportionate assets case against Kavlekar and his wife.
Several hundred slips of matka (gambling) were found stocked in the office inside his residence at Betul in South Goa this week.
"Kavlekar is summoned on September 22 at 11 am. He would be questioned about the existence of matka (gambling) slips in his residence," a senior crime branch official told PTI.
The official said that the case under Goa Gambling Act has been filed against Kavlekar which will be added to the main first information report filed against him for having assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The case against Kavlekar under Prevention of Corruption Act was filed in the year 2013.
