"Informally people know who are our candidates. But the formal announcement of their names will be done only in December," party president Prabhakar Timble told PTI today.
The newly formed party, mentored by Independent legislator Vijai Sardesai, has been recognised by the Election Commission of India with a coconut as its poll symbol.
Timble said alliance with like-minded parties is going to happen and it would not be announced at the last minute.
"Alliance will definitely happen. Everyone wants alliance, but right now they have kept their cards close to the chest," he said.
Timble said his party has a strong base in 18-20 constituencies in the state where they can go ahead on their own if the alliance does not happen.
