"There are two-three places which are identified and logistics are being worked upon," Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) vice chairman Damodar Naik told PTI today.
ESG is a special purpose vehicle of the state government to host International Film Festival of India (IFFI) annually, and also manages the film related activities in Goa.
Naik said the film production centre was basically to have all the facilities under one roof.
The centre will be a huge complex, and the modalities to develop it are being worked out, he said.
The ESG has not ruled out putting up the facility with private participation or through Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, so that the state exchequer is not burdened.
Several proposals are at the discussion stage at this juncture, Naik said.
"Soon everything will take a final shape," he added.
