Goa police arrest a Karnataka criminal

Police suspects that he could be behind several other thefts.
Rajaram Hawaldar, a history-sheeter from neighbouring Khanapur area of Karnataka, was arrested at his native place by a team of Collem police, led by police inspector Jivba Dalvi.
Police recovered 38 mobile phones from him.
Hawaldar confessed to committing more crimes in the area, police said.
The mobile phones recovered from the Hawaldar were stolen from a shop on March 28, he told the police.
More arrests are expected, police sources said. PTI RPS KRK
