The Chief Minister and the GOC also discussed several issues related to the welfare of ex-service men, an official release said here.
During the meeting, emphasis was laid on synergistic approach between the state government and the Army in maintaining law and order and other security issues and providing rightful vocations to the ex-service men.
Chief Secretary V K Pipersenia, Director General of Police Khagen Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister M G V K Bhanu, Commissioner and Secretary Home L S Changsan, and Additional DGP (SB) Pallab Bhattacharjee were also present at the meeting.
