The refined gold weighing about 2 kg was recovered from Surendra's house in Laxmangarh in Sikar district yesterday, while Rs 35 lakh was recovered from Sanjay's house in Sikar district today, police said, adding that the two are absconding.
Eight accused in the case are at large even after the arrest of kingpin Brijesh, a former army man hailing from Nawalgarh of Jhunjhunu district.
Three pistols, 31 live cartridges and a luxury bike were seized from him. Brijesh had joined the Indian Army as a paratrooper in 1999, but was sacked in 2011 following his involvement in a crime.
After his interrogation, most of the accused involved in the case have been identified and various teams of the Jaipur police were raiding their hideouts, police said.
