People of Bihar will have to wait for another 48 hours to get respite from the humid weather prevailing in the state for past couple of days with the MeT department today predicting moderate to heavy rainfall for three days from August 7.
"There is a low pressure on Bay of Bengal, which led to less rainfall in the state... But, it is expected that there will be good rainfall for three days from Sunday," Patna Meteorological Department Director Ashish Sen told PTI.
Sen said south Bihar, which includes Patna, would witness more rainfall in comparison to northern parts of the state.
The MeT department said many places of south central parts of the state received light rainfall, while few places of south west of Bihar too witnessed light rainfall.
