Goodera raises $5.5 mn from Nexus, Omidyar

Goodera, a global CSR and Sustainability Management technology platform, headquartered in Bengaluru and US, announced that it has received USD 5.5 million funding from Nexus Venture Partners and Omidyar Network.
Varsha Rao, previously Head of Global Operations at Airbnb also participated in this round along with other prominent angels, the company said in a statement.
Goodera is a CSR Lifecycle Management platform embedded with strong domain expertise, providing corporates automation and intelligence across monitoring and evaluation, impact measurement, grant making, reporting and employee volunteering.
The funds raised through this round will be utilised in enhancing our technology, deepening domain expertise and supporting customer acquisition and experience, it added. -----------------------

Titan's e-store launches chat bot by Gupshup to aid e-shoppers
Bot platform, Gupshup today announced the launch of the chat bot it has developed for Titan Company for its e-commerce store.
Currently active on Titan Company's E-comm store and Facebook Messenger, the chat bot can hold automated conversations with customers and offer them a highly personalised shopping experience, a statement from Titan said.
Through the bot, customers can explore Titan's range of products, get recommendations and raise queries about order tracking, shipment among other things.
