Goods train derails triggering disruption of services

A goods train derailed near Dhanbad today, triggering disruption of services in which several major trains including two Rajdhani Expresses were stranded, Eastern Railway officials said here.
Many coaches of the goods train derailed near Mugma station in Jharkhand injuring its guard. Mugma is between Asansol and Dhanbad stations, the officials said.
The incident resulted in disruption of services as several trains including Howrah and Sealdah Rajdhani Expresses remained stranded at different stations.
Attempts are being made to divert the stranded trains, the officials said.
