The 'Batman' prequel series will add the sidekick's mother and father to the cast, despite Robin himself not yet being born at the time the series is set, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"We're going to do a prenatal origin story for Robin down the line. There's an episode coming up where we learn how Robin's parents got together," Heller said.
Actor Nicholas D'Agosto recently said that Harvey Dent will become a regular on 'Gotham' if the series is given a second season by Fox.
