The governor, who has claimed of sharing very good relations with Yadav, made a phone call and wished to visit the chief minister this morning, Raj Bhawan sources said.
Naik told the chief minister that though he can extend the birthday greetings on phone but wanted to personally visit him after which the governor went to Yadav's residence and presented to him a bouquet of flowers.
The governor spent around 20 to 25 minutes at the CM's 5, Kalidas Marg residence in the state capital, sources said adding that minister for political pension Rajendra Chaudhary was also present on the occasion.
