Government hiding dengue death figures: Congress

Accusing the state government of trying to hush up the death figures during the recent outbreak of dengue, state Congress president Adhir Chowdhury today demanded that the state come out with the real figures.
"The state government is trying to hush up the figures of dengue deaths in the state. In order to hide their incompetency they are giving out false figures. The state should immediately come out with real death figures and the number of people affected," Chowdhury said.
The state Congress today took out a rally protesting against the incompetency of the state government to tackle the menace.

Several people have died and thousands of people have been affected due to the outbreak of Dengue in the state.
