"The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today gave its ex-post-facto approval for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and France which was signed in Paris, during the visit of the Prime Minister to France on April 10, 2015," an official statement said.
The signing of the MoU will help establish the basis for a cooperative institutional relationship to encourage and promote technical bilateral cooperation on the new and renewable energy issues on the basis of mutual benefit, equality and reciprocity.
The MoU will also help in strengthening bilateral cooperation between India and France.
The statement said that the Cabinet also gave its ex-post-facto approval for the MoU between India and Mongolia for five years. This MoU was signed at Ulaanbaatar during the visit of the Prime Minister to Mongolia on May 17, 2015.
The MoU will help establish the basis for a cooperative institutional relationship to encourage and promote technical bilateral cooperation on the new and renewable energy on the basis of mutual benefit, equality and reciprocity.
