Govt committed to welfare of poor, Dalits and women: HP CM

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said the government was committed to work for the welfare of the poor, Dalits, women and backward sections of the society.
Addressing a public meeting at Bajaura today, he said, "The welfare of these people is always the priority of the state government. Several welfare schemes have been announced in the budget."
Meanwhile, he said a Mukhya Mantri Lok Bhawan would soon be constructed in all the assembly constituencies. PTI PCL
He also inaugurated the 33 KV Sub Station at Sarabai constructed at a cost of Rs. 337.32 lakh and laid foundation stones of Interpretation Centre of GHNP to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.20 lakh at Shamshi, Rs 1-crore Lift Irrigation Scheme at Pirdi, car parking near Kala Kendra, Dhalpur constructed at a cost of Rs 122.21 lakh.PTI/PCL
