Sukhbir, a resident of village Ganganagar, was posted as a reader at sub-divisional magistrate office in Sardhana. On Tuesday evening he had left his office for home but could not reach till late night, her wife said in a complaint.
Sukhbir's body was later found by his family near Baghpat bypass along with his motorcycle, a police official said.
A case has been registered against unknown persons based on the complaint by the deceased's wife, they said adding personal enmity is believed to be the reason behind the crime.
