Govt for more plantation along highways

"There is a need to take up more plantations along national highways, railway lines, open land areas along the public places and educational institutions," Forests and Environment Minister Mian Altaf Ahmed said at a meeting here.

A total of 2,000 hectares of land will be covered in this regard, he added.
