Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij today said that soon all district hospitals would get a face-lift and in next two months there would be no shortage of doctors and para-medical staff in government hospitals.
Every district government hospital would have MRI, CT scan and dialysis machines, he said, adding that the facility of Cath lab would be provided in five districts.
Vij said that an advertisement to recruit 761 doctors and 2800 para-medical staff has been released.
"This would be the first recruitment after the formation of new selection commission of the state," he said.
With this recruitment, all problems of shortage concerning staff in hospitals would be resolved. Also, delivery rooms would be furnished with modern equipment with a view to ensuring safe delivery.
A complete roadmap for health reforms in has been prepared, he said.
All details related to requirement of staff and equipment are being sought in all government hospitals in 21 districts of the state, he said.
"For the expansion of health facilities and construction of new Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs), a comprehensive strategy is being formulated," he said.
He said that the Health Department is making efforts so that no common man has to go to market for getting medical tests done and also there should not be any need for referring patients to any other hospital.
Vij said that all hospitals and medical colleges of the state would be connected online by March 2016.
"This would be helpful in case any patient takes treatment from any hospital, his health information would be available online. This facility has already been initiated in two PHCs in Panchkula," he said.
Besides, file tracking system has been initiated in every hospital which could also be seen by the high officials in Chandigarh, he said.
