Former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot today attacked the state government for celebrating Rajasthan Day, saying it is misusing the public money in the name of celebration.

The three-day long festival was inaugurated yesterday by Governor Kalyan Singh.

No involvement of the public of Rajasthan in the celebration is shameful in itself. Public money is being misused and no chief minister has done this before, Gehlot said in a statement.
