Govt offices to close early for Republic Day, Beating Retreat

Central government offices in North and South Block, among others, will close early for Republic Day and Beating Retreat ceremony.
All offices in Shastri Bhawan, Krishi Bhawan Transport Bhawan, Sardar Patel Bhawan, Niti Aayog, DRDO Bhawan, Udyog Bhawan, Vigyan Bhawan, Raksha Bhawan, Bikaner House, Baroda House and Janpath Bhawan would be closed on Saturday at 1 PM and at 1 PM on Monday, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training.
Offices in Sanchar Bhawan, Shram Shakti Bhawan, National Media Centre, Dak Bhawan and Election Commission of India would also be closed at the same time on these days, it said.

Besides, buildings like North Block, South Block, Krishi Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan, Sanchar Bhawan, Vayu Bhawan, Udyog Bhawana and Nirman Bhawan, among others, would be closed for at Home function on January 26 till 7.30 PM, the DoPT said.
Most of these buildings would be closed early on January 28 and 29 for Beating Retreat ceremony, it said.
