: Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today said government's probe into 'malpractices' and 'corruption' in Road Transport corporation, Civil Supplies Corporation and Anglo French Textile mill during the previous AINRC government would bring to book all those involved.
Addressing workers of the ruling Congress on completion of 100 days by his ministry, he alleged that the previous AINRC government had functioned in a chaotic manner and that losses to the exchequer were very vast.
The present government would rectify the situation and all those involved in corruption would be brought to book.
Narayanasamy said his government was functioning in keeping with the directives of AICC leader Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi "to provide a transparent and clean government".
He said farmers would be provided free power supply, a demand which had been hanging in the balance for years together.
All ministers and party legislators were also present.
PWD Minister and PCC president A Namassivayam presided.
Earlier the Chief Minister went on a two wheeler throughout the town to garland statues of leaders at various points.
