"J-K government is actively promoting setting up of self-employment ventures for absorption of skilled youth in the industrial sector," Kichloo said while addressing a at Palmar area of Kishtwar district.
The minister, however, said the youth should not limit themselves to government jobs only and should explore other avenues as well.
"Our youth should not only be after government jobs but also explore possibilities of employment in industrial and tourism sector," Kichloo said.
He asked the Deputy Commissioner to immediately carry out the survey to assess the actual damage to the property so that the affected people are compensated.
