Govt school headmaster kills self in Raj

A 46-year-old headmaster committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his room, police said today.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Doi, they said.
The incident happened yesterday when Ajay, who was suffering from depression from sometime, committed suicide in Kotadi area under Gumanpura police station area of the city, they said.
He was posted as headmaster at a government senior secondary school and was reported to be under depression for sometimes, they added.
Ajay, a resident of Kotadi area hanged himself from the ceiling fan of his room and committed suicide yesterday noon, Circle In charge (CI) Gumnapura police station Anil Joshi said.

When his family members came back home, they discovered his body in his room, he said adding, he was rushed to Maharao Bhim Singh (MBS) hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.

No suicide note was recovered from the deceased, CI Joshi said.
The body was handed over to the family members after a postmortem last evening, CI Joshi said and added the matter was lodged under section 174 of CrPC.
The investigating into the matter is underway and the family members would be interrogated once they come out of grief, he added.
