Sureksha Naiyar, a teacher in government school in Kota, ended her life by hanging from the ceiling of her room yesterday, Station House Officer (SHO) Rajesh Soni said.
Naiyar, who lived with her husband and a minor son, was alone at home when she took the extreme step, Soni said.
She was suffering from abdominal ailment from a long time and that allegedly drove her to commit suicide, SHO said.
In another incident, a 25-year-old man ended his life by hanging himself in his hut last night at Ranipura village under Dablana police station of Bundi district.
However, no suicide note was recovered from the spot and the matter is being probed, the SHO added.
Both the bodies were handed over to their respective family members after post mortem. Case has been lodged in both the matters under section 174 of Crpc, police said.
