Gram, kabli gram rise on rising demand

Gram and kabli gram prices rose up to Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today mostly supported by rising demand from retailers against limited arrivals from producing belts.
Traders said pick up in demand from retailers against restricted arrivals from producing region mainly led to rise in gram and kabli gram prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,825-3,525,Rs 3,625-3,825 and Rs 3,775-3,875 per quintal respectively.
Kabli gram small variety also evoked increased demand and gained Rs 100 at Rs 3,900-5,900 per quintal.

Urad 3,900-4,700, Urad Chilka (local) 5,400-5,600, best 5,650-6,250, Dhoya 5,950-6,350, Moong 6,200-7,400, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,300-7,700, Moong Dhoya local 7,300-7,400 and best quality 7,900-8,000.
Masoor small 4,200-4,450, bold 4,400-4,500, Dal Masoor local 5,050-5,150, best quality 5,150-5,250, Malka local 4,800-4,900, best 5,000-5,100, Moth 4,700-5,000, Arhar 4,250-4,350, Dal Arhar Dara 5,800-6,000.
Gram 2,825-3,525, Gram Dal (local) 3,625-3,825, best quality 3,775-3,875, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,350, Rajdhani 1,350, Rajmah Chitra 7,200-10,700, Kabli Gram small 3,900-5,900, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,000-3,100.
