"Green Lantern" film franchise will place different Green Lanterns front and center in each future movie. It won't have a single primary protagonist like 2011's "Green Lantern" starring Ryan Reynolds but it will be more about the Green Lantern Corps, reported Ace Showbiz.
In the comics, there is generally one Green Lantern who remains on earth at one time while some other human Green Lanterns end up in space or on "monitor duty" on Oa, the homeworld of the Guardians of the Universe.
The new Green Lanterns will reportedly appear in either "Justice League Part One" or "Justice League Part Two", released in November 17, 2017 and June 14, 2019 respectively, before getting their own movie in June 19, 2020.
