Groundnut oil prices climbed in an otherwise lacklustre oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil all held steady in the absence of any largescale buying.
The castorseeds futures rates were unavailable.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil rose by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 760 from Monday's closing level of Rs 750.
However, Refined palmolein, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil all ended unaltered at Rs 598, Rs 3,925 (per 100kg), Rs 815 and Rs 835, respectively.
