Groundnut oil firm-up on good demand

Groundnut oil firmed up further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on good demand from stockists and retailers.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein declined further following subdued retail demand.
In the non-edibles, linseedoil rose further following sustained demand from allied and paint industries amid ensuing festival seasons.
However, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial ruled steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the edible section, groundnut oil climbed Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 890 from last Friday's losing level of Rs 880.
Whereas, refined palmolein fell Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 483 as against Rs 487 previously.

Moving to non-edible section, linseedoil went-up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 825 from previous closing level of Rs 820.
While, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial closed unchanged at Rs 4,100 per 100 kg and Rs 850 per 10 kg, respectively.
