Groundnut oil hardens on steady demand

Groundnut oil prices hardened at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on steady demand from stockists and retailers amid subdued arrivals from producing regions.
Refined palmolein also recovered following fresh retail buying.
However, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial slipped owing to lower demand from shippers and soap industries.
While, linseed oil held stable in absence of any major buying.
In edible segment, groundnut oil surged by Rs 15 per 10 kg to Rs 1,320 from Wednesday's close of Rs 1,305 and refined palmolein edged up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 553 as against Rs 551 yesterday.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold declined by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 3,340 as compared to Rs 3,350 yesterday and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 698 from Rs 700.
Linseed oil were unaltered at Rs 1,150 per 10 kg.
