In futures market, castorseeds prices eased following speculative selling on the back of subdued export enquiries.

In the edible section, Groundnutoil declined by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,190 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,200. Refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 601 per 10 kg.

Turning to non-edible section, castorseeds bold gained by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 3,300 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 3,285 and castoroil commercial went up by Rs 3 per 100 kg to Rs 690 from Rs 687. Linseed oil was unaltered at Rs 705 per 10 kg.

In the futures section, castorseed for September contract resumed lower at Rs 3,520 and moved in the range of Rs 3,535 and Rs 3,470 before ending at Rs 3,505 from Rs 3,530 previously, showing a loss of Rs 25 per tonne.
