Groundnut oil strengthens on consistent demand

Groundnut oil strengthened further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on consistent demand from stockists and retailers amid restricted supplies on the back of ensuing festivities.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein edged down following lack of demand from retailers.
In the non-edible, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial recovered owing to renewed demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed oil maintained a stable trend in absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the edible section, groundnut oil rose by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 820 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 815, However, refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10kg to Rs 510.

Moving to non-edible segment,castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,050 from Rs 4,025 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 840 as against Rs 835 yesterday.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 765 per 10kg.
