In restricted activity, groundnut oil prices edged higher by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to mild demand from retailers.
In the non-edible section, linseed oil also traded higher on up-tick in demand from paint industries.
Traders attributed the rise in groundnut oil prices to some demand from retailers against restricted arrivals from producing belts.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil inched up by Rs 50 to Rs 8,300 per quintal.
Among non-edibles, linseed oil went up by Rs 100 to Rs 9,000 per quintal.
