Refined palmolein also firmed up due good buying from retailers.
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial moved up further following better offtake from soap and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, linseedoil ruled stable in the absence of any major buying from paint and allied industries.
In the edible section, groundnutoil rose by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 1,430 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,420 and refined palmolein went-up by Rs 7 per 10kg to Rs 612 as compared to Rs 595 previously.
Linseedoil closed unchaged at 1,150 per 10 kg.
