The holiday movie tells the story of a young girl whose Christmas wish is to have a friend she can depend on. Instead of getting a human friend, the young girl is given a grumpy cat (voiced by Aubrey Plaza), reported Ace Showbiz.
"You really screwed up your big wish," Plaza says.
Lifetime's special holiday movie also stars Megan Charpentier as the young girl, with Russell Peters, Veronica Alicino and Daniel Roebuck in supporting roles.
Grumpy Cat - a real cat named Tardar Sauce - is an internet sensation who became popular for her grumpy expressions.
Plaza is best known for playing April in NBC's sitcom 'Parks and Recreation'. She previously starred in movies 'Life After Beth' and 'The To Do List'.
'Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever' premieres on Saturday, November 29.
