Four persons including a five-year-old girl were killed when the car in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding truck in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat today, police said.
The accident took place near Deriya village in Talod tehsil, police said, adding that all four victims died on the spot.
"A speeding truck rammed a Honda City car near Deriya village head-on, killing all four persons in the car, while the truck driver sustained minor injuries," a Talod police station official said.
The car was coming from Ahmedabad and was on the way to Dhansura in Aravalli district.
The deceased were identified as Nanjibhai Patel (58), Leelaben Patel (55), Shardaben Patel (51) and Honey (5).
