Ketan Inamdar, who won the last Assembly election from Savli assembly constituency in Vadodara district as a rebel candidate, today returned to BJP.
"I have joined BJP to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister Narendra Modi who is heading the poll campaign committee of the party and expected to play a more important role at the national level," he said.
Inamdar had contested as an independent candidate after BJP refused him nomination. He defeated the party candidate Upendra Gohil and sitting Congress MLA Khumansinh Chauhan.
