The man had returned last month and had been allegedly sexually abusing his daughter, a fifth standard student, while his wife was away at work, they said.
The man was arrested yesterday following a complaint from his wife.
He used to sexually abuse his daughter after showing her pornographic photographs on his mobile phone, according to the complaint, cops said.
A case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and the Juvenile Justice Act has been registered against the man.
