Gur closes steady on less activity

Quiet conditions continued to prevail at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today with most prices settling at previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also closed on a steady note.
Marketmen said arrivals and offtake too remained at a low ebb and volume of business also dropped.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,300-3,400, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,500-3,600 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,800-2,900, chakku 2,850-3,100, khurpa 2,650-2,750 and Ladoo 2,900-3,000.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,000-3,050 and dhayya 3,050-3,100.
