Gur closes steady on little demand

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) prices ended steady in the national capital today on small buying support amid adequate stocks position.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also remained steady in thin trading.
Marketmen said absence of worthwhile activity, mainly kept prices on previous levels.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya N.A. And shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,900-2,950 chakku 2,800-3,000, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,050-3,100 and dhayya N.A.
