Gur ends flat in Delhi, Raskat slips in Muzaffarnagar

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market settled steady in the national capital today following scattered demand amid restricted arrivals.
Barring a fall of Rs 50 per quintal in gur Raskat at Muzaffarnagar due to reduced offtake by beer makers, other gur varieties ruled steady in thin trade.
Gur Raskat dropped Rs 50 at Rs 2,650-2,700 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,800-2,900, pedi Rs 3,000-3,100, dhayya Rs 3,100-3,200 and shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 2,450-2,550, khurpa Rs N.T. And Ladoo Rs N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,650-2,700 and dhayya Rs NT.
